Free eye camp for individuals injured in July uprising

An eye camp will be held in Dhaka on February 1-2 to provide medical support to individuals who sustained eye injuries during the July uprising last year.
A team of five renowned eye specialists from Singapore will conduct comprehensive examinations during the two-day event, offering treatment and expert guidance to registered patients. Based on medical evaluations, some patients may be referred for additional treatment and rehabilitation in the program's second phase.

- Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute, Dhanmondi – 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
This initiative is organised by the BUET Amra92 Foundation in collaboration with the Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute, the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital (NIOH), and Orbis International. The event is also supported by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, Heroes For All, and other key partners.
Dr. Ishtiaque Anwar from Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute and Prof. Khair Ahmed Choudhury, Director of NIOH, have played a pivotal role in organizing this initiative, offering a vital opportunity to restore vision and improve the quality of life for those affected.
