Will Manchester United pack a medal for Ronaldo?

Manchester United could opt to give their former player, Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo, a Carabao Cup winner's medal after the Red Devils clinched their first major trophy for six years with a ruthless 2-0 win against Newcastle in the League Cup final at Wembley on Sunday.
Erik ten Hag's side took control by half-time thanks to Casemiro's header and a Sven Botman own goal and held firm despite Newcastle's second-half pressure.
Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United last year following an explosive interview where he slammed the club's direction, vision, and Erik ten Hag's, the current manager's treatment of him. The interview with Piers Morgan eventually prompted the club to terminate his contract.
Ten Hag had restricted Ronaldo's involvement in his side to a squad role and even refused to field the five-time Ballon d'Or winner in the Carabao Cup.
Ronaldo did not play in any of the six matches United played in throughout the competition, but he would still be eligible for a medal, should United want to hand him one. The superstar, now at Al-Nassr, already has the competition on his CV, winning it twice during his first spell in Manchester.
Ronaldo could be awarded a third winner's medal as according to the EFL 20.2 rule, the club can choose to give him a medal.
"In addition to the Cup, the Management Committee shall present thirty souvenirs to the winning Club in the Final Tie; and thirty souvenirs to the losing Club in the Final Tie. Additional souvenirs may be presented with the consent of the Management Committee but shall be at the cost of the requesting Club," the rule reads.
United will have no shortage of medals to give away as they have used 27 players in total in the competition and should they wish to give Ronaldo a spare one, they would have no obstacles in doing so.
