Celebrating life at Dhaka University

As part of its District Festivals, The Daily Star-Standard Chartered Celebrating Life Festivals reached the Dhaka University (DU) on Wednesday. The event, held at the TSC Auditorium, featured musical performance by Fahmida Nabi, and had Sadya Afreen Mallick (Editor, Star Arts & Entertainment), Rafi Hossain (Festival Director, Celebrating Life) and DU Vice Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique. 

Fahmida Nabi presented an entertaining set, even getting students in the audience to the stage to sing along. Both Sadya Afreen Mallick and Fahmida Nabi, Dhaka University alumni, were nostalgic about returning to their old university. 

The event bode well for the future, as Celebrating Life will be entering a contract with a handful of Universities, starting with Dhaka University, to host weeklong functions at University venues.
