Food Surfing with KC

With the private FM Radio industry expanding at a brisk pace, radio stations are constantly looking to stand out and give their audience something new and fun. Radio Shadhin 92.4FM seems to have found unexplored territory in terms of content that can potentially be very engaging: cuisine. Eating out is a big part of Dhaka's culture (especially because the city does not particularly provide a lot of options for leisurely activities or social gatherings) and Dhaka's heritage of food is being matched up by the new, more internationally-conscious eateries that are opening up.

The weekly show, “Food Surfing with KC”, will air its first episode at 5pm today on 92.4FM, and will feature food writer and blogger Kaniska Chakraborty sampling cuisine at various restaurants and food joints in Dhaka a, along with the show's host Kazria. The show will also have a report card segment, where Kaniska will grade the restaurant on various grounds.

And for those who cannot imagine a food show without some visuals, there will be a video version of the show, uploaded on Radio Shadhin's Facebook page right after the episode is aired.
