Khelna Mela 2018 underway at Shishu Academy

In order to celebrate National Children's Rights Week, Shishu Academy, in association with Khelna Bank has organised Khelna Mela 2018 at their premises. This fair is the first of its kind in the country.

In order to celebrate National Children's Rights Week, Shishu Academy, in association with Khelna Bank  has organised Khelna Mela 2018 at their premises. This fair is the first of its kind in the country. The event, which started on October 7, will run till October 13. Through toys, the fair aims to educate children about the importance of learning, sharing and caring. Khelna Mela 2018 is a showcase, providing visitors an overview of creative global and  local toy manufacturers.

State Minister for Women and Children Affairs, Meher Afroz Chumki, inaugurated the fair, in the presence of Secretary of the Ministry, Nasima Begum, Director of Shishu Academy, Anzir Liton and many others. 

Besides toy stalls, the fair features daily activities for children to promote learning through play, fun rides including a train, and seminars. It also includes a knowledge-based competition, cultural and puppet shows, gifts for top buyers, photo and play zones as well as awards for the three most innovative toy manufacturers.
