Lalon Utshab ends in Bogra

A three-day Lalon Utshab (festival) ended at Shahardighi village of Koichor, in Bogra on Thursday night.
The festival was organised by Bogra Lalon Academy on its 7th anniversary. The event was inaugurated by Md. Ashrafuzzaman, ADC (General) of Bogra.
The chief guest was Joint Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of Bogra District Parishad Anowar Hossain, and presided over by the president of Lalon Academy of Bogra, Ikbal Hossain.
Performance by Farida Parveen, one of the leading exponents of Lalon songs, was the main attraction of the festival. Her superb presentation of Lalon songs charmed thousands of spectators on the last day of the festival. 
Lalon followers from Kustia, Joypurhat, Sirajgonj, Natore and other locations joined the event.
