Seventh Berger Award for Excellence in Architecture

The commencement of seventh Berger Award for Excellence in Architecture (BAEA) competition was declared on August 10. In this regard, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited (BPBL) and Institute of Architects (IAB) jointly arranged a press conference at Gulshan Club. 

Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, Senior General Manager, Marketing and Sales, AKM Sadeque Nawaj, General Manager, Marketing; Dr. Abu Sayeed M Ahmed, president of IAB and Architect Ehsan Khan, award coordinator of BAEA-2015 elaborated on the award.

Since 2003, Berger has been proactively recognising the talented architects of the country and awarding them for their accomplishments.  The award has created the most prestigious national competitive platform where the unique and brilliant architectural projects are highlighted and recognised. In this biennial event, awards are given in five different categories -- Single Family Residence, Multi Family Residence, Commercial or Mercantile, Industrial and Others. In addition, there are two more categories -- Young Architect Award and Lifetime Achievement Award.
