Victory Day celebrations at Shanto-Mariam

Shanto-Mariam Foundation (SMF) and Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology ( SMUCT) arranged a two -day celebration of Victory Day. A cultural programme was held on the first day, says a press release. On the second day Freedom Fighter AKM Mozammel Haque, Minister for Liberation War Affairs as the chief guest and Freedom Fighter Col. (Rtd) Shawkat Ali MP, Former Deputy Speaker; Md. Sohrab Hosain, Secretary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Division, Ministry of Education; eminent artist Freedom Fighter  Shahabuddin Ahmed; Zishnu Proshonno Mukherjee, First Secretary, Education, High Commission of India to Bangladesh; Language movement veteran Kamal Lohani attended the programme as special guests.Founder chairman of SMF, SMUCT and Shahid Muktijuddha Smirity Foundation, Freedom Fighter Md. Imamul Kabir Shanto handed the crest, gift and Uttorio to the families of Freedom Fighters. Noted singers Shaheen Samad and Bulbul Moholanabish sang at the event.
