Wonder Woman finally made her cinematic debut earlier this year in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, and in “Justice League”, she's set to team up with the DC Extended Universe's other major heroes. Before that, however, we'll be traveling back 100 years for Diana of Themyscira's solo movie to see her first time traveling to the outside world. Warner Bros just released a new action-packed “Wonder Woman” trailer to get fans more excited for its release.

While this summer's first “Wonder Woman” trailer was full of exciting moments, this new one has even more to offer. It kicks off with revising Diana in the present day at the Louvre, as she's finally tracked down the physical copy of the photo she wanted to keep out of Lex Luthor's hands in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. From there, it jumps back a century to Themyscira, where Steve Trevor has not only crash-landed, but soldiers have also stormed the island.

From there, it cuts to the movie's main setting, World War I, but the conflict isn't quite going the same way as it did in the real world. The main villain looks like he's creating a deadlier weaponized gas to make the Great War even deadlier. With everything going on, it's no wonder that Diana chooses to accompany Steve Trevor back to Europe to help end the war -- disguised as Steve Trevor's secretary.

While there weren't that many new plot details revealed in the new trailer, it made up for that with cool, new action moments, from the biplane flying through the explosion to that killer shot of Diana deflecting lightning with her bracelets.

Set during World War I, Wonder Woman will tell the tale of Gal Gadot's Diana Prince venturing off Themyscira for the first time to escort Chris Pine's Steve Trevor back to the 'man's world' and see what life is like outside her secluded island. Wonder Woman's main cast also includes Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Saïd Taghmaoui, Ewen Bremner and David Thewlis.

“Wonder Woman” hits theatres on June 2, 2017.
