“Spider-Man: Homecoming” trailer has fans excited
For many years, the idea of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was just a dream. That all changed in early 2015, when Sony and Marvel made a deal to bring the webslinger into the larger franchise. Earlier this year Tom Holland debuted the character in “Captain America: Civil War”, but next year is the bigger deal for the hero, as he'll be getting his own solo movie with Jon Watts' “Spider-Man: Homecoming”.
The first trailer of the film, airing on late night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” put an end to weeks of internet rumors.
Although the first look at the new and improved Spider-Man costume is exciting, as well as the action shots of Spidey sailing with his web wings and cracking wise with bank robbers, the Peter Parker half of the story has always been the one that seems to suffer in live-action Spider-Man films. “Spider-Man: Homecoming” looks to change that, with the introduction of some friends of Parker, as well as him just dying to get into full time hero action with The Avengers. And somehow, Tony Stark is the voice of reason, trying to make sure that Peter doesn't swing into any action he can't handle.
While not much of see much of Michael Keaton's villainous Vulture can be seen in action, there is a small scene where he politely threatens Spidey to back off, or he'll kill everyone he loves, but the most exciting part of the trailer certainly is Spiderman and Iron Man flying together.
Meanwhile, Movieclips Trailers shared an International trailer for the film with some added footage that has got the MCU fans pumped. For starters, there's more of Tony mentoring Peter Parker, which includes the explicit fact that Peter's not considered an Avenger just yet. Another big addition to international version is the extra footage of Michael Keaton's Vulture, as well as a quick glimpse of Bokeem Woodbine with some powerful tech strapped to his arm.
