Watch the first trailer for WWII drama ‘Anthropoid'

The new thriller, which arrives in cinemas on August 12, is based on the true story of an attempt to assassinate an SS officer.

"Antrhropoid" stars Cillian Murphy and Jaime "Fifty Shades of Grey" Doran as Czech soldiers on a mission to kill Reinhard Heydricj, the SS Officer responsible for creating the Final Solution.

There are high hopes for the film as it is being helmed by rising star Sean Ellis, a director that has been garnering much praise in recent years on the film festival circuit.
