Kali was an exciting project: Omer Aiaz Ony

Amit Ashraf's five episode web-series “Kali” created a quite a buzz among viewers. Released on the website Bioscope Live, the superhero series tackled a genre untouched before in Bangladesh. Along with model-actress Azra Mahmood who plays Kali, actor Omer Aiaz Ony is seen in the series. In conversation with The Daily Star, the actor shared his experience of working in the project.

'Kali' was an exciting project and this is the first time I was part of a super-hero themed project,” he said. About his role, he said “I am playing a detective named Dalim, who takes the responsibility of finding Kali as he has to unveil the mystery behind a murder.”

Talking about the director, Ony said, “I have known Amit for a long time and I have a great respect for him. Our film industry has a lot of talented filmmakers but not like Amit. Working with him was a fantastic experience.
