Kaushik Hossain Taposh receives International Ratna Award

National Award-winning musician Kaushik Hossain Taposh has been honored with the International Ratna Award in India for his special role in Bengali music. The award-giving ceremony was held at Howrah Sarat Sadan, Kolkata, on October 2.

National Award-winning musician Kaushik Hossain Taposh has been honored with the International Ratna Award in India for his special role in Bengali music. The award-giving ceremony was held at Howrah Sarat Sadan, Kolkata, on October 2.

"Bestowing such an inspiring honor on me only multiplies my responsibility," shares Taposh. "I now look to upsurge my efforts in this regard as I want to make my country proud."

Taposh had also received the Gorber Bangali Award 2021 alongside Ajay Chakraborty, Aarti Mukherjee, Nachiketa Chakraborty, Shaan, Producer Kaushik Ganguly, Gautam Ghosh, and writer Shirshendu Mukherjee, among other Indian and Bangladeshi musicians.

Kaushik Hossain Taposh had earlier won the prestigious 'Dada Saheb Phalke Excellence Award' (2018) and 'Mother Teresa International Award' for his special contribution to music.
