Lalon death anniv observed in Natore

To mark the 127th death anniversary of the mystic bard Lalon Shah, Lalon academy arranged a programme in Natore.

The event included discussion and presentation of Lalon songs. The festival attracted a huge number of Lalon fans from different areas of the district.

Baul singers Shaheena Khatun, Mizanur Rahman Bhuttu, Harun-or-Rashid, Shohorab Hossain, Abdul Latif Khoka, Ashraful Islam and Sweety Khatun performed at the program.

Deputy Commissioner of Natore Shaheena Khatun; Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC Revenue) Muniruzzaman Bhuyan; Additional SP of Natore Abul Hasanat, Natore municipality mayor Uma Chudhory Jolly and Natore Press Club president Jalal Uddin spoke among others at the discussion, chaired by Abdul Latif Khoka.
