Munni's 'Kangan' resonates worldwide

Popular Bangladeshi singer and presenter Dinat Jahan Munni has paired up with Pakistani singer and music director M Salman Ashraf in a ghazal album Kangan. The album will release worldwide on June 15, 2018. American reputed independent digital music distribution service TuneCore is associated with the project. Munni has sung three duet ghazals with M Salman Ashraf.

“I practiced Urdu pronunciations and took classes with M Salman Ashraf online, prior to the recording,” says Munni. She recorded her portion in Piyal Hasan Studio, Dhaka and sent the audio file online.

Adam, Ahmad Fraz, Jigar and Munir Niyazi Wasi Shah are the lyricists of the Ghazals. MTV News, Bangla Music, MTV India, Pakistan Music Chart are partners  of the album.
