Promoting peace and tolerance through music

Mikael Hemniti Winther has been Denmark's Ambassador to Bangladesh since September 2016. This week, he joined a special programme called 'Music Buzz,' organised by the US Embassy in Dhaka to promote peace and tolerance, where everyone discovered what a truly talented guitarist he is.

Accompanied by four other men, Winther beautifully played a number of songs, without any prior preparation or rehearsal. The enthusiasm of the musicians on the stage created a joyful ambiance. “For me the biggest treat is to play for Bangladeshi people and the luxury to play with Bangladeshi people. I have had many incredible opportunities in this country and being a part of this music session is one of them,” Winther said.
