TM records continues to dazzle, this time with Anika’s “Poran Bondhu”

Talented singer Tasnim Anika has lent her voice to a new track, titled "Poran Bondhu", composed by National Award-winning music director Kaushik Hossain Taposh. Nazmus Sadat Nazim and Taposh jointly penned the lyrics for the song, which was released under the banner of TM Records. The music video features internationally acclaimed model Asif Azim and Sharlina Hossain.

"Honestly, working in this project feels like a dream come true," says the singer. "The song is very special to me because it was composed 21 years ago, and I have approached bit of western flavour to it under Taposh sir's guidance," adds the singer.

The song was released on the official Facebook page and YouTube channel of Gaan Bangla and TM Records. The video has already reached 3 million views on Facebook, in just a day.

Produced by TM records, the music video of the song was styled by Farzana Munny, and directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Tanim Rahman Angshu.

Asif is a renowned model in Mumbai, and is considered to be a pioneer among ramp models in Bangladesh. He was featured in the international magazine Vogue's publication in Italy, German and Australia, as the first Bangladeshi model. Two of his films in Bollywood await release.

This is Asif's first stint in a Bangladeshi production after 16 years.

"Poran Bondhu" was filmed in luxurious locations in the Himmafushi and Hulhumale islands of Maldives.

TM Records have worked on 50 music videos, which they have been releasing at regular intervals.
