7up MPL kicks off the second round

7up Music Premier League begins the second round where “Chittagong Chimes” will go head to head against “Rangpur Rockers.”  The episode will be aired tonight on Channel i at 7:50pm, with ABC Radio 89.2 FM as official radio partner.

The divisional competition will present Putul Sajia as team leader of “Chittagong Chimes,” which comprise members Monowar, Rumon, Chondrima, and Jony. Putul had previously garnered recognition for her participation in CloseUp1 in 2006, where she earned the Top 10 spot. Similarly well known playback singer Dithi Anowar will head “Rangpur Rockers,” followed by team members Borno, Noyon, Mehedi and Sagor. The match will be divided into three rounds, duet, a face-off round and finally a medley round. Partha Barua, Shakila Zafar and Bappa Mazumdar remain as presiding judges.
