ACM Awards recognise best in country music
The 52nd annual Academy of Country Music Awards were handed out Sunday night, where Jason Aldean was named entertainer of the year, while Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett were named female and male vocalists of the year, respectively. Lambert's “The Weight of These Wings” also won for album of the year.
Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley hosted the show for a second year. The ACMs, produced for TV by Dick Clark Productions, aired live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on CBS.
Brothers Osborne were named vocal duo of the year, Little Big Town won vocal group of the year, “H.O.L.Y.” by Florida Georgia Line won single record of the year, and “Die a Happy Man” by Thomas Rhett won song of the year.
The ACM Awards are produced by Dick Clark productions.
