Muscles, red swimsuits and raunchy charisma — the first teaser trailer for “Baywatch,” released Thursday morning, supplies everything one would expect.

“Our team is the elite of the elite,” Dwayne Johnson says in a voiceover over footage of him swimming out to save a burning ship. “We're the heart and soul of this very beach. We protect what other people don't want to protect. And we go above and beyond.”

In a bit of meta-commentary, Zac Efron's character arrives on the scene in the trailer to help recoup the “Baywatch brand.” He and Johnson seem to butt heads at first, but ultimately team up to save the beach.

Seth Gordon directs the movie based on the television show which ran for 11 seasons starting in 1989. In addition to Johnson and Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass, Priyanka Chopra, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson also star.

Paramount has scheduled the film for a May 26, 2017 release.
