Nick Fury may return in Captain Marvel

In Marvel Studios' busy Phase 3, “Captain Marvel” will make her live-action debut, with her solo movie sandwiched right between “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers 4”. Nick Fury, the connective tissue of the earlier MCU films, is rumored to be involved with the film, and it's for more than just a cameo. A new report claims that Samuel L Jackson will co-star in Captain Marvel, though further details are unknown.Nick Fury first appeared in 2008's “Iron Man”, and then provided support in five more movies. Christopher M from Omega Underground wrote on Twitter that it 'looks like' Jackson will be co-starring in “Captain Marvel” with an expected shoot date on January 8 next year in Atlanta. He also writes that this is not official yet but that it's the prevailing word right now.

“Captain Marvel” is currently scheduled to release in theatres on March 8, 2019.
