Abdul Kader brought back to Dhaka from Chennai

Renowned actor Abdul Kader, who was diagnosed with stage IV cancer, returned to Dhaka from Chennai's Christian Medical Hospital yesterday. The actor's daughter-in-law, Zahida Islam, confirmed the news.

"We reached the airport here at 6:50 pm yesterday. An ambulance was kept there, and we went directly to Evercare Hospital," she says. "Even though his condition is a little better, it is still critical. We request everyone to pray for him."

The actor had been feeling unwell for some time, and was taken to Chennai for treatment on December 8. He was diagnosed with cancer on December 15, after which the doctors declared that he was too weak for chemotherapy.

His family will opt for it again, once his body regains strength.
