World renowned sitar player Anoushka Shankar has recorded a special tribute performance in London's famous Abbey Road Studios.

The performance will commemorate 50 years of the independence of Bangladesh, 100 years of the nation's greatest leader, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the landmark 'Çoncert for Bangladesh', in which artistes like George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and Anoushka's father, the legendary Ustad Ravi Shankar performed.

Anoushka previously performed at the Bangabandhu Innovation Grant 2020's gala festival. The artiste, who has been performing on stage since she was 9 years old, is known as a prodigy of sitar and one of the world's leading exponents of the instrument.
