APU takes a 'Shortcut' to Kolkata

Apu Biswas, after passing a turbulent time in her life, is starting to find her own feet again. The renowned actor is about to enter Tollywood with Nachiketa's Shortcut. “I've started shooting for this since June 4, and have been working tirelessly every day since,” says Apu. The actor has finished her Eid shopping from Kolkata. “The only 'special' person in my life now is my babu, Abraham. He is my son and my best friend.” Apu Biswas claims that she does not see Kolkata's booming film industry as a challenge. “I will work here while upholding my Bangladeshi traditions. I hope I can win over the hearts of the people here.”
