Popular actor Arifin Shuvoo tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday. He is currently staying at home.

Popular actor Arifin Shuvoo tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday. He is currently staying at home.

The actor posted a video on his verified Facebook page to inform everyone about the news.

"After nine months of trying my best to stay safe, I got infected with the virus," says Shuvoo. "I am doing fine, but I have lost my sense of taste and smell. I am resting at home and hoping to get better within two weeks," he said.

The actor also said that his doctors have assured him that he will recover soon.

Arifin Shuvoo had recently returned to the sets after nine months for his first web series, "Contract". Meanwhile his upcoming movie "Mission Extreme" is awaiting a theatrical release. He will also be playing the role of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in a film on the Father of the Nation.
