ATM SHAMSUZZAMAN still on life support

Despite rumors of death on Saturday, ATM Shamsuzzaman is still battling for life at Dhaka’s Asgar Ali Hospital. In a conversation with The Daily Star, the veteran actor’s brother Saleh Zaman Selim said that his condition is yet to improve. “He is still on life support, please pray for him,” he said. The family also requested the Prime Minister to consider taking him abroad for treatment. “The Honourable Prime Minister is aware of the situation, and of course, whatever she will decide will be for the betterment of all. However, we request her to take him abroad.” ATM Shamsuzzaman was first admitted to the hospital on April 26 due to indigestion problems. His last film, Alpha, was released this month.
