Bangladeshi troupes to perform in Int'l Performing Arts Fest

Berhampore Kalakshetra International Performing Arts Festival 2016 is now being held in Berhampore, India. Inaugurated by celebrated thespian, Ataur Rahman, on August 3rd, the festival will continue till August 11. The event will feature a variety of performing arts including music, dance, drama and more.

Artistes of the dance troupe Pallavi Dance Centre, Bangladesh, will stage a Tagore dance drama “Shapmochan” on August 6. Dancer-choreographer Minu Haque will lead and direct the dance drama. Another Bangladeshi cultural troupe Bonhishikha, led by Golam Quddus, will also perform at the festival.
