Bangladesh National Museum (BNM) has arranged month-long programmes marking National Mourning Day 2015, says a press release. The programmes feature screening of documentary films on Bangabandhu, storytelling on the Father of the Nation, extempore speech competition among students, rare photographs and books on Bangabandhu on display and memorial stamps exhibition -- in association with Philatelist Association of Bangladesh.

Dr. Mashiur Rahman and Barrister Amir-Ul Islam narrated stories about Bangabandhu while Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor hosted the event yesterday.

Books and rare photographs are on display at the lobby of the main auditorium.  Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon inaugurated a memorial stamps exhibition on Bangabandhu at gallery no. 26 of BNM. He also distributed certificates among the speech competitors.
