BTS’s “Butter” trending worldwide

Record-breaking K-pop band BTS have released their second English-language track Butter, which received more than 34 million views within a few hours of its premiere.

They also got the record for the fastest music video in YouTube history to hit 10 million views, a feat that they achieved in just 13 minutes.

The band will perform the track at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards set for Monday, May 24, where they are nominated in four categories.

Speaking at a press conference in Seoul ahead of their Billboard performance, the 7-member band said that they were 'renewing' their quest to win a Grammy Award after the success of "Butter".

Their previous release, "Dynamite",  debuted at No 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the biggest debut on Spotify in the 2020.
