Dhaka International Guitar Festival 2020 starts tomorrow

Dhaka International Guitar Festival 2020 will commence from tomorrow online. The event partners are Calcutta International Classical Guitar Festival, Cooperacion Espanola, Instituto Cervantes, Tonebase, Embassy of Portugal, Embajada De Espana En India and Johannes Moller.

The online festival features live-streamed performances and workshops by well-known classical guitarists from all around the world. The participating artistes are: Latin Grammy Winner Sergio Assad from Brazil, Grammy Winner Andrew York from USA, Latin Grammy Nominee Berta Rojas from Paraguay, Grammy Winner Scott Tennant from USA, Denis Azabagic from Bosnia Herzegovina, Gary Ryan from UK, Johannes Miller from Sweden, Duo Del Mar from Spain, Srdjan Bulat from Croatia, Fernanda Maciel from Portugal, Mircea Gogoncea from România, Guilio Tempalini from Italy and See O Duo from Chile.

The live-streamed performances will air on the official Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages of Dhaka International Guitar Festival, whereas the workshops will be conducted over Zoom to give the participants direct access to the guitar maestros.
