Fake page with Alamgir’s name creates controversy

A Facebook post from a fake page, claiming it to be Alamgir’s, has been creating several controversies lately.

A Facebook post from a fake page, claiming it to be Alamgir's, has been creating several controversies lately.

The National Award winning actor only has one Facebook profile, M A Alamgir, but no official Facebook page. Yet, the post, from a page, is spreading controversial remarks about religion, affecting the renowned actor's image. The same post was given before on October 12, 2016.

"I never gave any statement or remarks about religion, yet unfortunately a fake page is spreading such rumors about me," shares Alamgir. "I don't understand why, on what purpose or for what benefit, will someone do such a thing, they are only trying to hurt me."

The actor further advises everyone to be wary of such rumors, "I urge the perpetrators to refrain from such activities and I am clarifying it to my fans that I do not have any Facebook page."
