Frozen II, the animated film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, hits Star Cineplex today. It is the sequel to the studio’s 2013 animated feature, Frozen. Directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, the film features the returning voice cast of Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) and Josh Gad (Olaf). They are joined by newcomers Sterling K Brown, Evan Rachel Wood, Alfred Molina, Martha Plimpton, Jason Ritter, Rachel Matthews, and Jeremy Sisto. Set three years after the events of the first film, Frozen II follows Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven as they embark on a journey to discover the origin of Elsa’s powers.

The biographical drama film, Ford v Ferrari, directed by James Mangold, also releases at Star Cineplex today. The film follows an eccentric, determined team of American engineers and designers, led by automotive visionary Carroll Shelby and his British driver, Ken Miles, who are dispatched by Henry Ford II and Lee Iacocca, with the mission of building the Ford GT40, a new racing car with the potential to finally defeat the perennially dominant Ferrari racing team at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France. It stars Matt Damon and Christian Bale, while Caitriona Balfe, Jon Bernthal, Tracy Letts, Josh Lucas, Noah Jupe, Remo Girone and Ray McKinnon appear in supporting roles.
