Hasselhoff in new 'Baywatch' set photos

As Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron continue Instagramming first look photos and behind-the-scenes set pics from Baywatch, David Hasselhoff becomes the centerpiece in a new batch of images. The actor originated the role of Mitch, now played by The Rock in this reboot, and it's still unclear exactly who Hasselhoff will be playing. By the looks of these pictures, though, it involves jumping back into his famous swim trunks.

“Which is Mitch?” Hasselhoff wrote on Twitter along with two photos from the set. Johnson confirmed The Hoff's casting in Baywatch a couple of weeks ago in an Instagram video. “There ain't no Bay without The Hoff,” The Rock exclaimed, while Hasselhoff shouted through FaceTime, “I was born ready.”

The film adaptation of the vastly popular 90s TV show centers on Johnson's Mitch Bucchanon, a by-the-books lifeguard who must team up with a young hothead named Matt Brody (Efron) in order to stop an oil tycoon from destroying their beach. Priyanka Chopra plays a villain in the film, which also stars Alexandra Daddario as Summer and Kelly Rohrbach as CJ Parker (originally played by Pamela Anderson).

Directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses), Baywatch is scheduled for release on May 19, 2017.
