“He was waiting outside for two hours just to meet me!”—Sabnam Faria

Celebrated actor Sabnam Faria has carved a space for herself in the industry over the years. She started her career with modelling and commercials, before working on television ventures and making her film debut in Debi. In a recent conversation with The Daily Star, Sabnam looks back on a special memory with a fan.

I went on a radio show about a year ago. When I came out of the station to get into my car, a young boy approached me. My driver told me that the boy was waiting outside for the last two hours just to meet me!

I was very touched and I decided to have a conversation with him. He even brought gifts for me, but I I explained to him nicely that I cannot take the gifts, as the situation was a bit awkward for me. I could tell from his face that he was truly disheartened to hear that. So, I took the gifts and opened them once I reached home. I was really pleasantly surprised after seeing the gifts. One of them was a mug, with a picture of my father and I printed on it. It seemed like the boy knew that my father means a lot to me.  The gifts made me really emotional. I would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart and I pray that he does well in life.
