Hitchcock's “Vertigo” at Bengal Cinematheque

Bengal Cinematheque, the quarterly series of private film screenings, presented by Bengal Foundation, is returning for its new cycle this month, with films by noted makers Chris Marker (France) and Alfred Hitchcock (England). For the first week, the films to be screened are: 1963 documentary “Sans Soleil” by Marker (tomorrow, October 3) and Hitchcock's 1958 classic “Vertigo” (Sunday, October 4).

Bengal Cinematheque, the quarterly series of private film screenings, presented by Bengal Foundation, is returning for its new cycle this month, with films by noted makers Chris Marker (France) and Alfred Hitchcock (England). For the first week, the films to be screened are: 1963 documentary “Sans Soleil” by Marker (tomorrow, October 3) and Hitchcock's 1958 classic “Vertigo” (Sunday, October 4). 

The screenings will take place from 7pm at Daily Star-Bengal Arts Precinct, at The Daily Star Centre (64-65 Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Karwan Bazaar, Dhaka 1215).

Bengal Cinematheque aims to present the films and ideas of cinema's greatest auteurs, at the highest quality, to build a community of emerging film-makers, writers and programmers in Bangladesh. Arranged in quarterly cycles, each set of screenings will present selected works by two rare and unusual film-makers.
