Jamdani Festival 2019 concludes tomorrow

The Jamdani Festival 2019, jointly organised by National Crafts Council of Bangladesh (NCCB) and Bengal Foundation, set out to celebrate the proud heritage of Jamdani weaving in Bangladesh, and demonstrate the outstanding skills and artistic finesse of contemporary weavers.

The Jamdani Festival 2019, jointly organised by National Crafts Council of Bangladesh (NCCB) and Bengal Foundation, set out to celebrate the proud heritage of Jamdani weaving in Bangladesh, and demonstrate the outstanding skills and artistic finesse of contemporary weavers. The festival concludes tomorrow with a closing ceremony.

Certificates will be awarded to the participating weavers in recognition of their unparalleled skills at the closing ceremony. The Honorable Minister for Ministry of Textiles and Jute, Golam Dastagir Gazi (Bir Pratik), MP, is scheduled as the chief guest. He will be distributing the certificates.
