James receives Covid-19 vaccine

Popular singer James received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine today at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital’s vaccination centre. He was regularly in contact with the hospital since the day that the vaccine reached Bangladesh.

His spokesperson, Rubaiyat Tagore, confirmed the news to The Daily Star. "James bhai took the initiative himself. He urges everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible," shares Rubaiyat.

Among other renowned personalities, Suborna Mustafa and Asaduzzaman Noor are already vaccinated.
