Katy Perry to Rally for Hillary Clinton

Singer Katy Perry will appear at a rally in Des Moines, Iowa on October 24 to rally supporters of Hillary Clinton.

The pop singer, in her first appearance for the 2016 campaign, will rally downtown Des Moines before presidential nominee Hillary Clinton attends the Iowa Democratic Party's annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner, Clinton's campaign announced Saturday.

Last year, when Clinton was on her book tour for “Hard Choices,” Perry attended an event with the former Secretary of State at CAA and told her that she would write a theme song for her “if she needs it.”
