Mahadiyah’s ‘Onek Brishti Jhore’ inspired by Runa Laila

Mahadiyah Naim, daughter of star couple Naim-Shabnaz, is an aspiring singer who idolises the legendary Runa Laila. The young talent has recently opened a YouTube channel, where her cover of Onek Brishti Jhore by the maestro herself, was published yesterday. The music video was praised for its refreshing arrangement and Mahadiya’s eloquence in singing. The song Onek Brishti Jhore was originally written by Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal and composed by Abdul Ahad.
