Nogen Paja waved a pincer and jumped on the old man for extracting his teeth with it, at the end of the drama at Rajshahi Medical College Auditorium on Saturday night.  The audience applauded as both the husband and wife present on the last scene raised eyebrows and advanced to stop Nogen.

Prof Obaidullah Ibne Ali, the physiology department chairman of RMC, directed the drama and played the role of the old man.

“The story depicts plight of senior citizens and criminal activities”, he said.

Students of Shah Makhdum Medical College played the other roles in the drama.

The festival was dedicated to the memory of Faraaz Ayaaz Hossain, who sacrificed his life in a rare display of human spirit during the Gulshan cafe terrorist attack.

RMC principal Prof Masum Habib presented a song while other students of different medical colleges across the country performed songs, dances and recitation of poems.
