Padatik to stage Poramati today

Padatik Natya Sangsad Bangladesh will stage their play “Poramati” at the Mukta Mancha at Suhrawardy Udyan on Febryary 11. The play, written by Babul Biswas and directed by Dr. Irin Parveen Lopa, the play depicts the torture and genocide that was inflicted on the intellectuals of the country just two days prior to the independence of Bangladesh. Omiyo Mizan, Kamruzzaman Pavel, Al Amin, Faruk Faysal Duke, Mahmuda Akter Lita and Kamal Hossain play different roles in the play.
