Padatik to stage ‘Prerona’ tomorrow

Theatre troupe Padatik Natya Sangsad will stage their 33rd production "Prerona" tomorrow at Bangladesh Mahila Samity's Nilima Ibrahim Auditorium at 5 pm. State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, MP will be present at the inaugural ceremony as chief guest.

The play narrates the story of a child who is suffering from Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Padatik Natya Sangsad Bangladesh, Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation, and Shommelito Shangkritik Shanghyajot have been playing a vital role in establishing theatre in Bangladesh and shaping its society for the last 43 years. Fighting autism through art and raising social awareness in this regard has always been one of its prime concerns.

Special safety measures have been taken at the venue to ensure proper hygiene and social distancing.
