Pori Moni to star in Hridi Haq’s ‘1971 Shei Shob Din’

Celebrated actor Pori Moni is set to star in 1971 Shei Shob Din, a film based on the Liberation War of Bangladesh, written and directed by Hridi Haq. The actor will be seen in a completely new avatar in the project, which marks Hridi Haq's directorial debut in films. "I will play the role of Binti in 1971 Shei Shob Din. I really liked the script and my character in the film," shared Pori Moni. "Getting to work on a film that is based on the Liberation War is a great honour." The film is a government-granted project.

Pori Moni's other upcoming ventures include the films Adventure of Sundarban and Biswa Shundori, and the web series, Puff Daddy.
