Printmaking and drawing workshop at FFA

A printmaking and drawing workshop is currently on at the Department of Printmaking, Faculty of Fine Art (FFA), University of Dhaka (DU). Renowned artist Shahid Kabir is conducting the workshop.

The workshop began on March 24, and will continue till April 7. Department of Printmaking, Faculty of Fine Art of DU has organised the workshop that focuses on three media -- dry point, sugar bite and drawing. Over 50 participating students from all the departments, predominantly from the Department of Printmaking are taking part in the workshop.

“We regularly hold workshops at our department to equip students with the diverse knowledge, skills and new techniques of arts. Printmaking is an intricate approach to art as it is time-consuming and requires sophisticated process,” said Anisuzzaman, Chairman of the Department of Printmaking, FFA, DU.
