Protibadi Nattyo Utshab 2020: A protest against rape and oppression on women

A drama festival "Protibadi Nattyo Utshab 2020" will be held at the auditorium of Bulbul Lalitakala Academy (BAFA), Wise Ghat road tomorrow (Friday, October 16) at 4 pm.

Arranged by Adi Dhaka Shangskritik Jote, the aim of this festival is to raise voices against rape and all kinds of oppression on women.

There will be performances by seven theatre groups—Dhaka Rangapith, Britto Nattyodol, Utsho Nattyodol, Bo'Natua, Natnondon, Theatre '52 and Rangapith Nattyodol.

The programme will be inaugurated by Jhuna Chowdhury, Co-President, Shommilito Shangskritik Jote.

Presided over by Manos Bose Babu Ram, President, Adi Dhaka Shangskritik Jote, the chief guests for the event are Kamal Bayezid, Secretary General, Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation, Ahmed Giyas, General Secretary, Bangladesh Pothonatok Parishad and Md Fazlur Rahman, General Secretary, Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts.

Hanif Khan, President of Adi Dhaka Shangskritik Jote, will deliver the welcome speech while Golam Jilani, Drama Secretary, will be supervising the event.
