Rabindra Library inaugurated at Khamkheyali Sabha

Language Movement veteran Ahmad Rafique inaugurated Rabindra Library at the 22nd adda of Khamkheyali Sabha, a regular programme of Biswa Sahitya Kendra.

Aside from the members of Khamkheyali Sabha, local and foreign researchers can use the library. In future, the library opens its doors to the public.

The organisers also announced the institution of “Bhasha-Sangrami Ahmad Rafique Research Stipend”.

Mahmud Hashim, convener of Khamkherali Sabha, presented a keynote paper at the event. Singer Moqbul Hossain rendered songs of Tagore, while Kaberi Das and Pinusen Das presented songs of Pandit Ramkanai Das at the programme.
