Today marks the 80th birth anniversary of veteran composer and one of the main organiser of Shadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, Ajit Roy. The creator of many timeless compositions, Ajit Roy received Swadhinota Padak in the year 2000 for his special contribution to music.
