Star Cineplex to reopen from October 23

Recently, the government allowed all cinema halls in the country to reopen from October 16 after being closed for more than six months.

However, the popular cinema hall STAR Cineplex will reopen on October 23.

Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Senior Manager of Media and Marketing at STAR Cineplex, said that they will start operations from October 23, with stringent precautions.

He further said that many of their staff members were out of the city due to the nationwide shutdown. As a result, they were asked to get tested for Covid-19 and stay in isolation if necessary, before returning to work.

The multiplex was closed from March 19 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
