Star Melodies to present songs about romance and spring on February 15

Star Melodies, an initiative of The Daily Star to promote Bangla music, will host a musical evening titled, Bhalobashar Akhore Lekha Boshonter Gaan, serenading the audience with songs about romance and spring.

Sponsored by Dhaka Bank Limited, the event will be held on February 15, (Saturday) at The Daily Star Centre at 6:00 pm.

One of the leading Rabindra Sangeet artistes, Fahim Hossain Chowdhury, talented playback singer Anupoma Mukti, along with promising singers Sabuj, Dr Alif Laila and Smoron will perform at the event. Sadya Afreen Mallick, Chief of Culture Initiatives, The Daily Star, will host and coordinate the programme. The event is open for all. However, seats are limited, and available on a first-come first-serve basis.
