A T M Shamsuzzaman hospitalised

Ekushay Padak and National Award winning actor A T M Shamsuzzaman has been hospitalised after suffering from breathing problems. He was taken to Asgar Ali Hospital in Gendaria last evening, and is currently under treatment, his wife Runy Begum informs The Daily Star.

The actor was unwell from Wednesday, and was facing irregular food digestions, alongside breathing problems. After consulting with the doctors, he was taken to the hospital to run some medical tests. Currently, he is in the ICU, seeking necessary treatment under the supervision of Dr Ataur Rahman.

The "Noyonmoni" famed actor has been actively appearing in both films and television for the last 50 years. Alongside acting, he alsoearned praises as a screenwriter.
